Abort OpenClaw actions with natural language — "stop", "please stop", "STOP!", or equivalents in ES/FR/ZH/HI/AR/JP/DE/PT/RU.
Stop OpenClaw with natural language
You no longer need to remember a specific slash command to abort an action. Just say "stop", "please stop", "STOP!", or "do not do that" — OpenClaw will halt the current operation immediately.
Works in multiple languages
Stop phrases are recognized in:
- ES (Spanish) — "para", "detente"
- FR (French) — "arrête", "stop"
- ZH (Chinese)
- HI (Hindi)
- AR (Arabic)
- JP (Japanese)
- DE (German)
- PT (Portuguese)
- RU (Russian)
Why it matters
When OpenClaw is running a long task — scraping a site, generating code, or processing files — you can interrupt it naturally without digging for a /cancel or force-quitting. This is especially useful in voice interfaces or when you're multitasking.
No configuration needed
Stop phrases work out of the box. No config changes required.
