Background Claude Code CLI runs can use a loopback MCP bridge so OpenClaw tools appear as MCP tools inside Claude.

UX

  • Bundled runs prefer stdin plus stream-json partial-message streaming so long answers show live progress instead of stuffing huge prompts on argv
  • Final session/usage metadata still lands cleanly when the run completes

Security: OpenClaw clears inherited Claude Code env overrides (config dir, plugin roots, provider routing) so backdoor sessions cannot silently hijack auth or hooks.
